Dash4Hope
Hello Community Member,
I have worked in the City of Diamond Bar as the Community Relations Deputy for the last 10 years and have enjoyed being a part of the community. Often, I am discussing safety matters regarding our city and what we can do regarding crime prevention. Today, you are receiving this email for a personal reason. Most you know my daughter Paisley was diagnosed at 2 ½ with cancer and is now 10 years old. We are thankful for her health and want to give back. We have decided to put on a walk/run event called Dash 4 Hope. Since September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, we have decided to hold the event on September 28th, from 11am until 3pm at the South Point Middle School in the City of Diamond Bar. This event will help families who are going through childhood cancer as well as helping cancer survivors regain their childhood by giving them athletic scholarships. Kickcancer is an amazing organization which we have partnered for this event. I have attached the flier for additional information. We can use anything from donations to volunteers, just let me know if and how you might want to be involved. Please feel free to contact me via email or by phone 951-790-3650.
